  Great stay just need new stairs put in. They are actual unsafe and not sure how they pass safety regulations. Some more relaxed chairs outside would be great, and we also had to bring 2 fans with us as the other 2 bedrooms didn’t have fans and it was hot. Drove back to Geraldton to buy 2 fans.
  Staying 12 nights, with no washing machine was a HUGE pain, considering the Laundry at the complex was broken down and with a family of 5 it was a huge pain not being able to wash. A washing machine in the unit is a MUST!
  Also, the shower curtain is not long enough and the water drips out onto the floor.

  Overall inpression of the complex was it has everything you need and the pool area is great, for all ages.
  First impressions of our apartment, was peeooowww! It smelt like it had been closed up for a long time. Opened all the windows and doors and it was fine in an hour or so. The stairs are not ideal for kids under the age of 3, people afraid of heights, the elderly and getting a bulky suitcase up and down. Some of our dishes in the cupboards/drawers were put away dirty but on the flip sode, it is a well equipped kitchen. The shower has good pressure. The toilet is upstairs. The groundsmen are doing a great job at maintaining the outdoors. I do wish I had info about how to get into the gym upon arrival. The location of the apartments is at the far end of town and was a bit of a walk with the kids. We did drive afew times as they did tire in the heat. If you are a light sleeper, take ear plugs as the fans and air con upstairs are VERY noisy and old.

  We had a great stay in Kalbarri. Lovely apartment with a river view and walking distance to town and the IGA. The complex had a great swimming pool and we wenhadbthe tennis courts right behind us which was fun for all of us. Beds were really comfortable and every thing we needed was in the apartment.

  We've visited Kalbarri alot and stayed in many types of accommodation. We were travelling 2x adults, 1yr, 4yr & 8yr old. I think there is a few main issues with this place. 1x is electrical. There are limited power points so there are extension lead and adaptors everywhere. None of ehich were plugged in. So took us a while to get all the lamps and appliances working. The AC had a 180min shut off with pin code access. Which meant bed at 9, turn AC on, up at 12, up at 3, up at 6. Just to keep the bedrooms cool. The kettle kept shorting out the whole place?! Likely just need replacing. We boiled water on the stove instead. Also, AC upstairs is not in the rooms, it is in the hallway and basically pumps down the spiral staircase. Despite having it cold and cranked at night, we were hot. Bubs room ranged between 25 & 34 degrees. One bedroom had a ceiling fan but not lights in the ceiling.
  
  2x issue fir hubby and I was the bed. An old one whereby we kept rolling into eachotger if you didnt cling to the edge. Basketball court and tennis lights shine through into room until late-maybe 12ish?
  
  3x the spiral staircase. Not good with 1yr old. Our fail. There is a gate at the top but none at the bottom and our 1yr old could open it himself. We put a biggie board across with a chair and tool bag on top to stop access.
  
  4x issue is the place needs some basic maintenance. Corner cupboard in the kitchen dropped and half hanging off each time it was opened. Unfortunately, it contains most of the kitchem items. You cant lock the place from the exit as you head to the pool, park or bbqs. You must exit through the front and walk around the whole place to get to the amenities. Paint peeling of exterior walls, outside tap leaking a fair bit. Couches old and sinky.
  
  We liked - pool. Fantastic for kids. (Spa is not operational.) Plenty of parking. Location was great. TV with swing arm. Heavy curtains. Shower was good. Kids slept well in bunks. Clean.
